Sulfur deficiency-Potatoes

Symptoms
The pale green leaves (left) are reduced in size and growth is stunted. Symptoms often seen on younger leaves first.

Reasons
Sulfur deficiency. Nitrogen deficiency, nightfrosts, water shortage or heavy metal toxicity can cause similar symptoms.

Symptoms
The entire foliage - beginning at the younger leaves - turns pale green. Additionally, a purple tint may occur on stems, leaf stalks and leaf edges. The veins are often lighter than blade.
