YaraAmplix PROCOTE OPTIMIZE is a biostimulant fertilizer coating that protects the phosphorus you apply and liberates the phosphorus already in the soil.

PHOSPHORUS UPTAKE
Up tp 70-90% of P applied is tied up prior to the crops accessing it; with PROCOTE OPTIMIZE crops have increased uptake of P applied and P already in the soil.
ROOT GROWTH
Strong early growth of roots promotes crop resilience and increased nutrient uptake of eight other nutrients (N, K, Ca, Mg, S, B, Mn, Zn).
EASE OF USE
Delivered to growers already coated onto their dry fertilizer, PROCOTE OPTIIZE supports increased yields without complexity.
Proven Results
Designed with Yara’s 55 years of formulation knowledge and more than 10 years of biostimulant R&D, PROCOTE OPTIMIZE is proven to be effective with an 80% yield increase win-rate in 20 trials across the US and Canada. In the trials, PROCOTE OPTIMIZE delivered an average yield gain of 4.5%.
Demo Plots: Improved Plant Establishment and Stress Tolerance
Yara has been conducting demo plots across various crops and regions to show the effects of YaraAmplix PROCOTE OPTIMIZE. Here are some preliminary results.
Improving Abiotic Stress Tolerance in Corn
In this demo plot conducted in Quebec, PROCOTE OPTIMIZE treated plants showed fewer signs of abiotic stress than untreated plants.
Improving Plant Vigor in Corn
In this demo plot in Quebec, corn plants treated with PROCOTE OPTIMIZE are showing improved vigor compared to untreated plants.
Improving Potato Plant and Root Development
In this demo plot conducted in Iowa, PROCOTE OPTIMIZE treated potatoes show better plant and root development only 39 days after application compared to untreated.
Improving Canola Plant Development
In this demo plot at Yara's Incubator Farm in Langham, SK, canola treated with PROCOTE BCMZ, PROCOTE OPTIMIZE and YaraVita MULTICOP showed improved plant development 40 days after application.
Resilience in dry and cold conditions
In this experiment in common beans, carried out at the University of Hohenheim, Germany, we tested the effect of increasing concentrations of Procote Optimize on the growth of lateral roots, known to be the main ones responsible for nutrient absorption. More roots mean more soil area explored by the plants, better ability to resist dry conditions and better nutrient uptake.
